**Responsibilities and Assignments** **Role Mission**
We are seeking a PMO Specialist to strategically manage the company’s Engineering and Expansion project portfolio, ensuring governance, standardization, and executive visibility across the entire portfolio under the responsibility of the Vice President of Engineering and Expansion Projects.
This professional will connect strategy, planning, execution, and decision-making, ensuring projects are properly structured, prioritized, approved according to governance frameworks, and monitored throughout their full lifecycle—from initial demand submission, technical and regulatory analysis, approval, registration and structuring, to energization and handover to operations.
This position will be responsible for integrating, consolidating, and providing all Engineering and Expansion information in a structured manner for use by various company departments.
**Responsibilities:**
**Main Responsibilities**
• Manage the corporate expansion project portfolio (generation, transmission, reinforcements, improvements, or others as applicable), ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic guidelines.
* Lead the process of structuring, qualifying, and prioritizing new demands, supporting proposing areas and ensuring technical and economic\-regulatory criteria for decision-making.
* Drive and evolve portfolio governance models, including decision-making forums, monitoring cadence, and definition of key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Conduct strategic planning within the Vice Presidency, consolidating roadmaps, goals, constraints, and capacity requirements.
* Serve as the focal point for executive and institutional reporting, consolidating information for the Board of Directors, Committees, Board of Trustees, Regulatory Agencies, and other internal and external stakeholders.
* Support the deployment of strategic guidelines into tactical plans, ensuring alignment among internal technical areas and other company departments.
* Promote continuous improvement in project management processes, methodologies, tools, and metrics.
**Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements:**
* Degree in Engineering;
* Proven experience as a corporate PMO professional, portfolio management, and strategic planning—preferably in infrastructure, energy, or capital-intensive companies;
* Experience in the energy market;
* Knowledge of project and portfolio management methodologies (PMI, Stage\-Gate, etc.);
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Postgraduate degree or MBA in Energy Sector Management, Project Management, Strategy, or related fields is a plus;
* Experience in the energy market and knowledge of energy market regulatory frameworks would be a significant advantage;
* PMP, IPMA, or similar certification;
* Knowledge of Lean Project Management methodologies.
