Free Monitoring of Embedded Devices to Datacenters with Grafana and InfluxDB

How to monitor, using the most effective tools currently available, from embedded systems to datacenters, starting for free. Nowadays, with an increasing number of IoT devices and on-premises and cloud servers running applications that grow more complex every day, where high reliability is desired, it becomes necessary to "observe" their correct operation, be automatically notified in case (or even before) any failure occurs, and also easily have access to historical data. The Grafana platform enables all this; besides being free and open-source, it can be deployed in self-managed cloud environments, locally on-premises, or even online on Grafana's own platform. We will discuss how this can be implemented simply, together with the InfluxDB database, ranging from IoT devices such as the ESP32 to Linux/Windows servers.
