




Description: * Hold a Certificate of Registry (CIR) in the category of Second Engineer Officer (2nd EO); * Hold a valid STCW Regulation III/1 Certificate of Competency, as well as the following Model 1034 certificates: * ECIA * EESS * TBS * EGPM * ESAT i * EPSM * EOPN; * Hold a valid NR 33 16-hour certificate — Confined Space Worker and Watchman; * Hold a valid NR 35 — Work at Height certificate; * Valid passport; * Valid International Certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever; * Advanced English proficiency desirable; * Intermediate Excel skills desirable; * Organized; * Verbal/written communication and assertiveness; * Enjoy communicating with other teams and subordinates; * Proactive in dynamic and critical environments; * Goal- and target-oriented work. * Substitute for the Deputy Chief Engineer (if the most senior officer next in line) in his absence or incapacity; * Perform watchkeeping duties (responsible for engine room watch) and assigned divisions, immediately reporting any incidents observed to the Chief or Deputy Chief Engineer and duly recording them in the Engine Logbook; * Carry out work orders received to ensure proper operation, maintenance, and cleaning of all engines and equipment, safeguarding their optimal performance; * Perform duties assigned by the Chief Engineer, such as responsibility for engines, boilers, electrical systems, refrigeration units, pumps, steering gear, cargo handling and lifting equipment, fuel oil system, and feed water system; * Undertake repairs feasible using onboard resources, as well as maintenance and adjustment of various equipment; * Be responsible for custody and maintenance of tools issued, signing the corresponding receipt and assuming responsibility for any losses. 251220020255972619
