Job Summary: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, store, and replenish goods in a Distribution Center, following safety regulations and operational planning. Key Highlights: 1. Teamwork and accountability. **Job Mission** Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to ensure the movement, storage, and replenishment of goods in the Distribution Center, in accordance with operational procedures, safety regulations, and operational planning. **Key Responsibilities** * Operate forklifts to handle cargo during receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, and shipping. * Move products to designated locations, respecting layout, signage, and internal regulations. * Support replenishment of picking, staging, and shipping areas. * Assist in loading and unloading vehicles. * Ensure proper packaging and stacking of products. * Perform daily forklift checklists, verifying operational and safety conditions. * Immediately report any irregularities, mechanical failures, or operational risks. * Maintain the forklift and other equipment used. * Strictly comply with safety regulations, PPE usage, and sound operational practices. * Support cyclic and general inventory activities as needed. **Authority / Decision-Making** * Operate equipment in accordance with procedures and safety limits. * Halt operations in case of safety risks or equipment failure. * Report deviations, damages, or risk situations to immediate leadership. **Job Requirements** **Education** * Completed high school (mandatory). **Certifications** * **Valid Forklift Operator Training Certificate** (mandatory). * Refresher training in accordance with current legislation (preferred). **Experience** * Prior experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution center (preferred). **Technical Knowledge** * Operation of electric and/or combustion forklifts. * Basic knowledge of warehousing, stacking, and cargo handling. * Basic ability to read location addresses and identify products. * Basic knowledge of occupational safety applicable to forklift operations. * **Experience operating clamp forklifts will be considered a strong advantage**, especially for handling bulky and sensitive cargo (e.g., white goods, home appliances, mattresses, etc.). **Availability** * **Availability to work night shifts**, according to scheduling and operational needs. **Behavioral Competencies** * Attention and accountability. * Operational discipline. * Commitment to safety. * Teamwork. * Organization and care for equipment.
