The repair operator, with a focus on TIG welding, will be responsible for performing welding operations on aerospace components. Activities include operating and monitoring welding equipment to ensure process quality, as well as organizing tools and instruments. The professional will also be responsible for equipment maintenance, ensuring safety and quality in all performed activities. **Key Responsibilities:** * Ensure correct use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) during operations. * Follow safety standards and internal procedures to prevent risks. * Define welding parameters, such as speed, temperature, and gas flow, according to technical specifications. * Inspect welding surfaces, ensuring proper cleanliness and alignment. * Perform masking and protection of non-welded areas when required. * Conduct measurements and inspections on parts and components. * Monitor the welding process, ensuring parameters remain within specified limits. * Identify and correct deviations or issues during operation. * Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welds to ensure compliance with quality standards. * Carry out basic maintenance on welding equipment, such as cleaning and consumable replacement. * Report equipment failures or repair needs to the maintenance team. * Record performed services in applicable systems and technical documents. * Follow technical instructions and standard operating procedures. * Identify problems and request assistance to resolve deviations. * Communicate clearly and effectively regarding work performed. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education. * Technical training in welding. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Basic technical English (reading, writing, and interpretation). * Experience in aviation and/or repair activities. * Proven knowledge of TIG welding processes. * Availability to work rotating shifts (2nd and 3rd shifts) under a 4x4 schedule. **Desired Characteristics:** * Proactivity and positive attitude. * Good interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation. * Strong organizational sense and commitment to expected behaviors.
