Provide guidance on best practices and tax adjustments **Responsibilities** * Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with tax and fiscal regulations. * Analyze accounting, tax, and financial documents. * Identify inconsistencies, fraud, or irregularities in financial operations. * Prepare detailed technical reports with conclusions and recommendations. * Monitor updates to applicable tax legislation. * Advise the company/department on best practices and tax adjustments. * Participate in inspections and provide support for regulatory agency requests. **Requirements** * Degree in Accounting, Administration, Economics, or related fields. * Solid knowledge of municipal, state, and federal tax legislation. * Prior experience in tax auditing or related areas (preferred). * Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools. * Analytical ability, attention to detail, and logical reasoning. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Organization, professional ethics, and confidentiality.
