Responsible for ensuring Supplier Quality by conducting audits, part qualifications, and non-conformance management, acting proactively to drive continuous improvement.

Role Summary
Responsible for ensuring Supplier Quality by conducting process and product audits, part qualifications (PPAP/APQP), and non-conformance management (NCR), including containment, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions. Act proactively to drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance with Flowserve standards and specifications, monitor supplier KPIs, and support strategic supplier development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Conduct process and product audits at suppliers to verify compliance with Flowserve requirements.
Lead corrective and preventive action plans (containment, root cause, 8D, A3\).
Manage part and process qualification (PPAP, APQP, FAI, Control Plan).
Support resolution of customer complaint/escape-related issues (RCA/CA).
Monitor supplier KPIs (non-conformances, rework, scrap, First Pass Yield).
Update and maintain internal platforms (AVL, SCAR, CAPA).
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and reduction of the cost of poor quality.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and safety requirements.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%).
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or Industrial).
3–5 years of experience in Supplier Quality or related fields.
Knowledge of auditing (not required to be a Lead Auditor, but proven experience required).
Advanced English (for negotiation and reporting).
Experience with PPAP, APQP, FAI, GD\&T, and Control Plans.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Proactive profile with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Intermediate Spanish.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Experience with quality software systems.
Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, PDCA).
Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
