Job Summary: Responsible for planning, controlling, and negotiating purchases of textile raw materials; managing inventory and suppliers; seeking cost reduction; and analyzing market trends. Opportunity to work with market analysis and trends * Plan, execute, and control purchases of trims, fabrics, and other production inputs used by the company. * Manage material inventory, monitor delivery lead times, and ensure input availability for production. * Manage the procurement cycle and process, preventing raw material shortages. * Manage suppliers, evaluating performance, negotiating delivery timelines, payment terms, and acquisition costs. * Continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction. * Respond to and negotiate purchase requests originating from various departments within the company. * Analyze the market and trends, especially foreign exchange fluctuations (e.g., the US dollar) impacting the cost of imported fabrics. * Develop procurement strategies and plans aligned with the budget and monthly production volume. * Update the Jalecochic Cost Calculation spreadsheet daily, ensuring cost information remains current. * Control the entry and exit of lab coats, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. * Completed or currently completing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Production Engineering, or related fields; * Prior experience in procurement, inventory control, or supply chain; * Negotiation and supplier relationship skills; * Proficiency in Excel (Intermediate to Advanced); * Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
