Job Summary: The Librarian will support the academic community in accessing, organizing, and using information and bibliographic resources. Key Highlights: 1. Collaborating with faculty to integrate information resources We are seeking a **Librarian** to work in our college library, supporting the **academic community** (students, faculty, and staff) in accessing, organizing, and using information and bibliographic resources—both physical and digital. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Providing assistance and guidance to students, faculty, and staff on using the collection (books, periodicals, databases, digital repositories, etc.); * Managing and developing the bibliographic collection, including selection, acquisition, cataloging, and classification of materials relevant to the college’s academic disciplines; * Organizing and maintaining the institutional repository; * Collaborating with faculty and course coordinators to recommend core and supplementary bibliographies and integrate information resources into curricula; * Maintaining and operating library systems (integrated library management systems and digital tools). **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or Information Science (active registration with the Regional Council of Library Science — CRB); * Experience in an academic library or educational setting (preferred); * Knowledge of cataloging, classification, and collection management; * Familiarity with academic databases, library systems, and digital repositories; * Strong communication skills, public service orientation, and ability to work collaboratively.
