




Job Summary: We are seeking an electrical engineering technician to maintain and ensure the optimal operation of the infrastructure of our new Datacenter in Rio de Janeiro, guaranteeing safety and excellence. Contribute to process optimization and service excellence We are looking for an electrical engineering technician to join our Datacenter team in Rio de Janeiro. You will work in a challenging and dynamic environment, applying your expertise to maintain and ensure the optimal operation of the infrastructure of our new Datacenter in Rio de Janeiro. Your expertise will be critical to ensuring the safety and comfort of our employees and customers, as well as contributing to optimizing our processes and achieving service excellence. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Inspect, measure, and monitor all electrical systems and equipment inside the data center; * Conduct on-site inspections and monitor the Data Center building and its alarms. * Operate and perform maintenance on electrical panels, whether de-energized or energized; in the latter case, using appropriate clothing and PPE; * Perform low-voltage electrical building maintenance. * Carry out periodic infrastructure routine checklists. * Implement best practices related to datacenter infrastructure, operations, and maintenance; * Suggest, implement, and supervise best practices for infrastructure safety at the Datacenter. * Identify, implement, and supervise corrective and predictive maintenance needs for the datacenter infrastructure. * Supervise customer installations within the datacenter. * Perform minor installations to serve datacenter customers. * Replace light bulbs and repair internal and external lighting; * Install electrical circuits and circuit breakers for AC and DC; * Monitor third-party maintenance activities for air conditioning systems, fire protection systems, electrical installations, water systems, generator systems, battery systems, and any other infrastructure-related tasks at the datacenter. * Enforce datacenter security policies and procedures; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical education in Electronics or Electrical Engineering. * In-depth knowledge of critical datacenter systems, including: diesel generators, UPS systems, fuel systems, switchgear, power distribution equipment, fire detection/suppression systems, and building monitoring systems. * This role involves standard working conditions in a Data Center environment with rotating shift schedules to support 24/7 operations. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure, and manage stress. * The candidate must demonstrate confidence in customer-facing situations. * Teamwork. * Problem-solving attitude aligned with customer and organizational requirements. * Highly proactive behavior. * High level of organizational skills, focused on maintaining updated records and controls usable across the organization.
