Value collaboration, creativity, and overcoming challenges We are looking for a mechanical technician to join our Data Center team in Rio de Janeiro. You will work in a challenging and dynamic environment, applying your skills to ensure maintenance and optimal operation of our new Data Center infrastructure in Rio de Janeiro. Your expertise will be critical to ensuring the safety and comfort of our employees and customers, as well as contributing to process optimization and service excellence. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Conduct on-site inspections and monitor the Data Center building and alarms. * Operate and maintain the air conditioning system (Chillers, CRAC, Fancoils, CRAH, split units). * Perform periodic checklists for critical infrastructure routines. * Identify, implement, and oversee corrective and predictive maintenance needs for Data Center infrastructure. * Supervise customer installations within the Data Center. * Install electrical circuits and circuit breakers for AC and DC systems. * Oversee third-party maintenance activities for the air conditioning system, fire protection system, electrical installations, water system, generator system, battery system, and any other tasks related to Data Center infrastructure. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical education in Mechanical Engineering. * Extensive knowledge of critical data center systems, including: Chillers, direct expansion refrigeration systems, CRAC units, fancoils, primary and secondary pumps, cooling towers, and electrical systems. * This role involves standard working conditions in a Data Center environment with rotating shift schedules to support 24/7 operations. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure, and manage stress. * Candidates must demonstrate confidence in customer-facing situations. * Teamwork orientation. * Problem-solving attitude aligned with both customer and organizational requirements. * Highly proactive behavior. * High level of organizational skills, focused on maintaining updated records and controls usable across the organization.
