Development and monitoring of an integrated management system A civil construction company is hiring an Occupational Safety Engineer in Duque de Caxias. * **Participate in the selection process via Jobbol** and receive direct feedback from the company! **What will you do in this role?:** Develop an annual plan for Safety, Medicine, and Health (SMS) activities, defining, executing, and evaluating assigned goals, as well as implementing performance indicators to track results. Conduct critical analyses of plans, procedures, and work instructions applied on construction sites, promoting necessary adjustments in accordance with contractual clauses. This approach aims to align them with the client's reality and ensure their implementation by responsible parties. Supervise the execution of activities related to safety, health, and environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, manuals, and the integrated management system, as well as applicable legislation and certifications targeted by the company. Lead SMS critical review meetings, where performance levels are evaluated through result reviews and audits, aiming to foster continuous improvement of involved processes. Develop and monitor procedures of the integrated management system, preparing manuals, indicators, and tracking tools that support quality, safety, environmental, and health processes. Implement and maintain preventive and corrective actions related to quality, safety, environment, and health across all company units, ensuring a safe and healthy workplace. Conduct audits and technical visits across various organizational areas, as well as at suppliers and subcontractors, to ensure compliance with applicable SMS requirements. Manage the team under supervision, conducting performance evaluations, identifying training needs, and proposing team development initiatives.
