Job Summary: This role involves ensuring the correct adoption of new parts in the production line, managing impacts, and leading projects with a focus on preventing disruptions and optimizing costs. Key Highlights: 1. Lead new parts adoption processes and manage impacts. 2. Protect the production line from stoppages and inconsistencies. 3. Take ownership of new projects and pioneering initiatives. **Responsibilities:** * Ensure the entire process of correctly adopting new parts, involving all necessary stakeholders for successful adoption (with no impact on the production line), and achieving the lowest possible cost impact; * Analyze all potential impacts of Design Note adoptions on parts used at the NBA plant through clear and proactive negotiation with relevant departments (Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Procurement, Production Control, Manufacturing, ILNs, etc.), scenario evaluation, and appropriate decision-making for the best option, while accurately entering technical information into the G2B system within the required timeframe and with proper data quality. * Be responsible for groups of high-complexity part functions, ensuring compliance with adoptions and rigorous follow\-up of each D/Note within one's scope. Protect the plant against production line stoppages caused by inconsistencies in new implementations, avoid systemic adoption failures, and prevent risks that could also affect vehicle retrofits or incur extra costs—such as air or road freight charges; * Monitor the entire part preparation process—from D/Note receipt to physical implementation—including confirmation of EOP (end of production) costs for each part undergoing running change. Exercise strict judgment in decision-making and proactively question situations where external factors may jeopardize one’s own deliverables; * Monitor testing of new parts or projects; challenge Product and/or Process Engineering teams to deepen technical understanding of one’s own parts. Possess in-depth knowledge of part applications across models and functions; * Lead meetings, pilot new projects, or handle critical departmental issues with skill—knowing whom to involve and how to approach them—contributing to breaking down barriers and advancing company business; * Assume responsibility for New Projects, pioneering initiatives, and preparation and presentation of materials for management review. Demonstrate competence and confidence in defending diverse viewpoints during conflict situations; * Support the coordinator/manager in scenario evaluation and subsequent decision-making for the optimal option. Be open to listening and providing feedback; * Assertive communication, transparency, negotiation skills, and empathy. Strong critical thinking, agenda organization, and activity prioritization; * Analytical, logical, and integrated thinking to understand rapidly changing proposed processes, participate in follow-up and decision-making meetings, and support junior team members; * Proficiency in handling and negotiating Running Changes (phase-in/phase\-out of parts) with local or foreign suppliers (ILNs). Ability to counter pressure by proposing more balanced alternative scenarios. **Knowledge/Skills:** * Analytical profile with strong sense of prioritization and accountability. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to guide work and conduct meetings. **Software Knowledge:** * Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word is mandatory; * Familiarity with creating Excel macros and other software (e.g., Access, OutSystems, Tableau, RPA, etc.) that can assist in developing time-optimization tools for daily departmental routines is considered a plus. **Experience:** * Extensive proven experience in the automotive industry or with automotive supply chain suppliers (preferably in Production Control, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, or Logistics). **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline), Business Administration, Economics, Logistics Technology, Information Technology, Industrial Production Technology, or related fields. **Language:** * English \- Intermediate (Advanced level will be considered as a plus). **Work Location:** * NBA \- Resende, RJ **Work Type:** * Hybrid (4x1\) **Business Travel:** * Willingness to undertake possible business trips to local suppliers or other Nissan offices in Brazil; Nissan hires based solely on candidates’ alignment with the job requirements, without distinction or discrimination based on gender, gender identity and/or expression, sexual orientation, race, color, language, religion, political or other opinions, national or social origin, economic position, birth, or any other condition.
