Job Summary: A professional to apply knowledge of Occupational Safety Engineering, guide safety systems, investigate accidents, and propose solutions to preserve workers' physical and mental integrity. Technical support for safety audits and training. **Job Responsibilities and Duties:** § Apply Occupational Safety Engineering knowledge to reduce, neutralize, or eliminate worker safety hazards; § Guide the occupational safety system by investigating risks and accident causes, making necessary recommendations to prevent similar accidents, analyzing prevention schemes, observing legal and institutional regulations aimed at eliminating, controlling, or permanently reducing workplace accident risks and improving environmental conditions to preserve workers' physical and mental integrity; § Accompany regulatory agencies when requested; § Inspect company premises, facilities, and equipment to identify accident risk factors; § Conduct routine internal safety audits and Occupational Safety Training in the hospital kitchen area, identifying unhealthy and hazardous conditions, taking all necessary measures to eliminate risk situations, and guiding and raising awareness among employees regarding safe work practices; § Develop and implement Health, Occupational Safety, and Environmental (HSSE) policies; § Continuously monitor activities carried out by the Internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA), reviewing its observations and proposals to adopt corrective and preventive solutions for workplace accidents and environmental issues, acting as a multiplier agent; § Recommend, control, distribute, and inspect personal protective equipment (PPE); § Prepare technical documents, such as: Unhealthy Work Environment Report, Hazardous Work Report, Emergency Response Plan, Occupational Health Certificate (LTCAT), among others; § Provide technical support to the Legal Department in judicial proceedings, drafting responses in lawsuits, and acting as a technical assistant during judicial expert assessments, among others; § Recommend, request, and inspect fire protection equipment, audiovisual and didactic resources, and other materials deemed indispensable according to current legislation; § Propose safety standards and devices, suggesting possible modifications to equipment and installations and verifying compliance to prevent accidents; § Inspect fire-fighting posts, examining hoses, hydrants, fire extinguishers, and fire protection equipment; § Report inspection results by preparing reports; § Investigate occurred accidents by examining incident conditions to identify root causes and propose appropriate corrective actions; § Liaise with the institution’s medical and social services to facilitate necessary care for injured workers; § Record irregularities and prepare/monitor accident indicators; § Promote campaigns, courses, lectures, and other forms of training to disseminate occupational safety and hygiene standards, as well as inform and raise awareness among workers about unhealthy, hazardous, and arduous tasks; § Directly supervise food waste management services; **Prerequisites:** Experience as an Occupational Safety Technician in hospitals or corporate restaurants. Desirable: Civil Firefighter course. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to deliver training and onboard new employees. Knowledge of CIPA and programs such as PCMSO, PGR, LTCAT.
