Collaborative and multicultural environment Responsible for planning and executing inspection activities within the scope of static equipment and piping integrity for MODEC units, aiming to ensure operational safety and equipment availability in accordance with legislation, internal procedures, and industry best practices. **Responsibilities and Duties** We are seeking a professional for the position of **Static Equipment Integrity Technician**, to work in an **offshore** opportunity. **To perform the following duties:** * Conduct inspection activities on static equipment and piping systems, including assessment of deterioration and damage rates, to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment onboard the unit in compliance with NR-13 requirements, thereby contributing to achievement of production and revenue targets. * Ensure compliance with NR-13 regulations as well as MODEC’s philosophy, guidelines, and standards by approving or rejecting equipment condition, generating inspection results, and implementing and monitoring equipment inspection plans — observing inspection items, inspection procedures, inspection frequency and sampling, hold points, acceptance/rejection criteria, corrosion rates, and remaining service life. * Ensure proper traceability of all static equipment inspections by recording results in the inspection management system and issuing required inspection records, as well as generating, validating, and monitoring inspection recommendations in the CMMS. * Participate in subsequent static equipment integrity assessments by performing or supervising sample and material collection for analysis purposes. * Ensure that all inspection equipment and instruments are properly calibrated, maintaining all necessary controls, records, and checklists. * Proactively safeguard MODEC against non-compliance with legal/regulatory requirements by following, or ensuring third parties follow, MODEC procedures, internal and external regulations, national and international standards when conducting or witnessing tests, examinations, controls, treatments, and monitoring related to static equipment. * Ensure quality of maintenance, production, construction, and assembly activities related to Static Equipment performed by the main team or third-party personnel, by conducting quality control of on-site work and promptly reporting any abnormalities through the appropriate system, in accordance with MODEC procedures, manufacturer recommendations, and national/international regulations. **Requirements:** * High school diploma is mandatory; * Technical degree is mandatory, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, except for expatriates; * Certification in Equipment Inspection per NR-13 is required; * Qualification in Thickness Measurement (SNQC) is required; * Qualification in Liquid Penetrant Testing (SNQC) is required; * Magnetic Particle Testing qualification (SNQC) is preferred; * Weld Inspector qualification (FBTS) is preferred; * IRATA certification is required; * Basic knowledge of CMMS (preferably SAP) is preferred. * Basic knowledge of Inspection Management Systems (preferably SGI) is preferred. * Basic knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, etc.) is preferred. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Additional Information** Being part of MODEC means being the PROTAGONIST of a CHALLENGING career and being in touch with the latest deep-water production systems, knowing that your career begins in BRAZIL, but your talent can take you anywhere in the WORLD. * **If you want to be among the best in the market, this is your opportunity!!** * **As a MULTICULTURAL company that respects DIVERSITY, we encourage applications from PWDs (Persons with Disabilities) in our processes.** **\-** *Being part of MODEC means being the PROTAGONIST of a CHALLENGING career and being in touch with the latest deep\-water production systems, knowing that your career begins in BRAZIL, but your talent can take you anywhere in the WORLD.* ***\-***If you want to be one of the greatest in the market, this is your opportunity!!*** * ***As a MULTICULTURAL company that respects DIVERSITY, we encourage PWD application in our process.*** At MODEC, our greatest asset is our people.
