Ensure compliance with company procedures and international regulations Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer on an offshore pipe\-layer operating in Brazil. You will support safe navigation, DP operations and deck activities, working closely with the bridge and marine crew to keep all operations safe and efficient. ### **Key responsibilities** * Assist the Chief Officer and Master with safe navigation and DP operations * Stand bridge watch and keep accurate logs and records * Monitor vessel position, weather, traffic and safety systems * Support cargo, anchor handling and pipe\-lay operations as required * Maintain navigational equipment, charts and publications up to date * Ensure compliance with company procedures, SMS and international regulations ### **Requirements** * Valid 2nd Officer / OOW STCW license * Previous experience on offshore vessels, preferably pipe\-layers or similar DP units * Valid STCW basic and advanced safety courses * Good English communication skills * Medically fit for offshore work
