Construction Estimator

Description

We are seeking a responsible, analytical, and committed Construction Estimator to prepare, analyze, and control construction budgets, contributing to the financial viability and efficient planning of the company's projects. Responsibilities: * Prepare civil construction budgets based on project drawings, descriptive specifications, and quantity takeoffs; * Obtain quotations for materials, equipment, and services from suppliers; * Analyze direct and indirect costs involved in construction projects; * Develop cost compositions and physical\-financial schedules; * Verify quantity takeoffs and interpret architectural, structural, and complementary project drawings; * Assist in the planning and cost control of ongoing construction projects; * Update spreadsheets, reports, and internal systems related to budgeting; * Support engineering, procurement, and finance departments as needed; * Ensure proper document organization and adherence to established deadlines. Requirements: * Technical or higher education degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or related fields; * Prior experience in construction budgeting is a plus; * Knowledge of reading and interpreting project drawings; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical reasoning; * Strong verbal and written communication skills; * Commitment, responsibility, and proactivity; * Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
