Impact large-scale infrastructure projects **Job Description:** At Verum, we seek professionals who can transform data into strategic decisions, grow in challenging capital project environments, and build solutions that directly impact major infrastructure projects. If you are interested in working on technical budgeting and wish to develop within relevant projects, this opportunity may be the next step in your career path. Responsibilities Prepare budgets based on project quantity spreadsheets. Develop calculation memoranda referencing the projects used. Construct calculation memoranda for items not specified in the project (e.g., excavation, backfilling, spoil removal, material reuse, among others). Structure a assumptions document defining adopted productivity rates. Prepare budgets using reference databases, with focus on EMOP, and complementary use of other databases (SINAPI, SICRO, ORSE, SEINFRA, among others). Identify materials, equipment, and services outside reference databases, conduct quotations (minimum 3 proposals), and perform technical and commercial equalization. Calculate average DMT per municipality, considering the nearest licensed spoil removal site. Size construction sites and indirect infrastructure. Prepare construction site sketches. Develop physical schedules and histograms for indirect cost composition (meals, transportation, benefits, and training). **Requirements:** Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related fields) Knowledge of construction budgeting, with emphasis on EMOP Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced level) Willingness to work in Rio de Janeiro (RJ)
