We are seeking a partner to support our **Legal team**. **Scope of services:** * Serve as the subject-matter expert on regulation of Payment Institutions (PIs) and support compliance and licensing processes with BACEN, including the new regulatory framework for cryptoassets; * Support the business in structuring new products by translating legal risks into practical and viable guidance; * Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts and international (cross\-border) agreements in Portuguese and English; * Manage corporate governance matters (minutes, shareholder agreements, corporate governance) and support venture capital due diligence and transactions; * Develop risk mitigation strategies and provide legal advisory support to other departments across diverse subject areas; * Coordinate external law firms, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget control; **Service provider requirements:** * Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB); * 3–5 years of experience in the legal departments of fintechs, financial institutions, asset managers, Web3 companies, or specialized law firms; * Fluent English, with proven ability to negotiate and draft technical documentation; * Solid knowledge of BACEN/CVM regulations and payment systems. **Desirable qualifications:** * Spanish language proficiency; * Postgraduate degree in Banking Law, Capital Markets Law, or Corporate Law; * Experience with virtual asset service provider (VASP) regulation, asset tokenization (RWA), DeFi, and digital custody; * Knowledge of international transactions and taxation. **Behavioral competencies:** * Solution-oriented profile, focused on enabling business objectives; * Clear and assertive communication, with ease of interaction across technical, commercial, and regulatory teams; * Comfort with digital tools and curiosity about leveraging technology and AI in legal practice; * Ability to adapt to dynamic and highly complex regulatory environments. **We encourage the well\-being and health of our partners and, as part of the engagement, offer:** * TotalPass; * Birthday Day Off; * Sulamérica Health Insurance (opt-in basis).
