Join our team and become a Med Member. **Responsibilities and Duties** Support readiness, emergency response, rescue and salvage operations, prevention activities, and routine tasks at the power plants of Petrobras’ Thermoelectric Park. .• Maintain emergency response materials and equipment in perfect condition, including hygiene and organization. * Be part of the CONTRACTOR’s Emergency Brigade and respond to emergencies occurring at the CONTRACTOR’s facilities or in the surrounding area when the Unit participates in a Mutual Aid Plan (PAM). * Develop and deliver training related to prevention, preparedness, and emergency response, as well as SMS-related training, and train multipliers, per PETROBRAS instructions and procedures, within the service area whenever required and requested by PETROBRAS supervision; * Participate in training related to prevention, preparedness, and emergency response, and SMS-related training per CONTRACTOR guidelines. * Conduct inspections of the CONTRACTOR’s fire prevention and suppression equipment, chemical and environmental emergency resources and equipment. * Prepare activity planning for the measurement period and update the information systems defined by the CONTRACTOR. * Participate in the Mutual Aid Plan (PAM) (where applicable), either jointly with the CONTRACTOR or independently. * Support planning, readiness, and technical rescue operations for work at height and in confined spaces. * Plan, install, and remove support equipment for critical work at height and in confined spaces, as well as perform search, rescue, and salvage operations, enabling coverage across work fronts; * Perform technical rescue services for personnel, using specialized labor, during process unit shutdowns; * Identify safe anchorage points to be used during rescue operations; * Plan and supervise rescue and salvage operations, and develop and deliver training per PETROBRAS instructions and procedures; * Monitor the execution of scaffolding assembly and disassembly planning in industrial areas, evaluating safety conditions prior to releasing assembled structures; * Periodically inspect existing scaffolds used in routine, pre-shutdown, maintenance shutdown, and post-maintenance shutdown services; * Inspect and monitor isolation of cargo movement areas to prevent personnel from entering the cargo’s radius of influence. * Ensure compliance with the Corporate Standard Procedure of the Business Area or Business Unit (RGN/UTE) for scaffolding assembly and disassembly, aimed at standardizing scaffolding assembly and disassembly, maintenance, and safety. Also ensure compliance with the Standard on Work at Height Safety; * Conduct predetermined assessments and audit activities in confined or restricted spaces, with environmental monitoring using multi-gas and thermal stress instruments provided by the CONTRACTOR, supporting the CONTRACTOR’s Occupational Safety Technician.
