The professional will be based at the Rio de Janeiro office, adhering to the EGP work model (mandatory presence in the office 4 days per week). **Your Responsibilities:** **In this role, you will be responsible for:** * Providing technical support to all EGP plants (Wind, Solar, and Hydro) regarding protection, control, and automation, managing technical aspects of contracts with third-party companies serving these plants for such topics, and proposing improvements and projects aimed at enhancing operational quality and reducing costs. * Possessing experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA systems (Elipse, SDI, etc.), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and hardware and software used in renewable energy automation systems, as well as protective relays from various manufacturers. * The position requires field service execution experience, including accessing protective relays for programming, commissioning, and analyzing oscillography and event logs to support EGP plant shutdowns. **What We Expect From You:** **Mandatory Qualification:** Electronic or Electrical Engineer **Certifications / Qualifications** * Experience with protective relays, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA systems (Elipse, SDI, Micro Scada, etc.), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and hardware and software used in renewable energy systems; * Ability to integrate diverse systems and machinery into automated processes, particularly in solar, wind, and hydroelectric power generation; * Skills to diagnose and resolve issues in power plant protection systems; * Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, PROFIBUS, among others; * Familiarity with power system-specific protocols such as IEC 61850, DNP3, IEC 60870\-5\-101/104, and others used in power system automation and smart grids; * Experience with protective relays from various manufacturers, including ABB, Siemens, Schneider, GE, among others. **Desirable Behavioral Competencies:** Proactivity, resilience, teamwork capability, prioritization ability, availability, and sense of urgency.
