Here, all work is multidisciplinary, and each challenge is unique! **We are looking for a Safety Engineer to join our Sustainability team. This role is 100% on-site at our Botafogo office.** \#LI\-JZ1 \#LI\-Onsite **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop recommendations and monitor implementation of SMS actions, programs, and projects; * Investigate incidents to determine causes, circumstances, and contributing factors; * Conduct, be accountable for, and participate in SMS audits of offshore and onshore facilities, tools, and equipment; * Monitor performance indicators and report periodic results; * Implement actions to reduce risks and prevent unsafe conditions, as well as recurrence of incidents; * Ensure compliance with requirements established by competent authorities, particularly ANP and MTE; * Interact with Government Agencies on technical SMS matters; * Monitor implementation of occupational health and safety programs (PPRA, PCMSO, AET, PCA, PPR, PGR, etc.); * Develop and maintain programs focused on workplace accident prevention, identification of occupational hazards and incident risks, conducting inspections, awareness campaigns, and incident investigations to avoid recurrence, thereby safeguarding the lives of employees and third parties, as well as company assets; * Serve as the focal point for the unit’s occupational safety team activities. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with Postgraduate specialization in Occupational Safety; * Prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry. **Additional Information** **What is the selection process like at PRIO?** We like to get to know you before the interview, so we ask you to complete several assessments during the registration stage to evaluate your cultural fit with PRIO :) Next, our HR team will schedule a conversation with you.
