Job Summary: Join a support squad delivering advanced technical support for critical solutions to a telecommunications client, ensuring system availability and providing high-level technical assistance. Collaborative environment with investment in professional development As part of the Engineering team, you will work within a support squad responsible for sustaining critical solutions and systems for a major national telecommunications client, delivering advanced technical support to end users and ensuring rapid, effective resolutions. You will be responsible for ensuring system availability (with focus on infrastructure), responding promptly to requests and reported incidents, performing advanced root-cause analysis, and developing definitive solutions — supported by a multidisciplinary team and technical specialists. Occasional on-site visits to our client in Rio de Janeiro will be required. **Responsibilities and Duties** **You will be responsible for:** * Monitoring and overseeing the client's environment, verifying systems and machines to ensure full operational functionality; * Performing preventive maintenance on the client's environments; * Receiving and analyzing incident and problem tickets reported by the client; * Receiving and executing service requests; * Providing workarounds to minimize client impact during failures; * Developing definitive solutions for problems; * Executing, monitoring, and overseeing change/maintenance windows; * Managing performance and capacity; * Managing backups and recovery plans; * Participating in rotating on-call shifts outside regular business hours; * Conducting on-site visits in Rio de Janeiro; **Requirements and Qualifications** **What you need to know:** * Experience in infrastructure implementation or support; * Experience with Linux environments; * Experience administering physical and virtual machines; * Intermediate networking knowledge; * Knowledge of virtualization solutions; * Knowledge of backup solutions and recovery plans; * Knowledge of Windows environments; * Knowledge of storage solutions; * Knowledge of SAN networks; **What you need to have:** * Clear and effective communication skills; * Teamwork orientation; * Initiative; * Logical reasoning; * Critical thinking and sense of urgency; * Intermediate English (reading, writing, and ability to participate in meetings and audio calls); **You’ll stand out if you have:** * Knowledge of Zabbix; * Technical certifications; * Knowledge of ITIL; **Additional Information** At Icaro, we strongly encourage our professionals to embrace our Culture.
