Join this team! **COME TRANSFORM LIVES—INCLUDING YOUR OWN.** **Responsibilities and Duties** **The main challenges as ASSISTANT PROFESSOR I – BIG DATA AND CLOUD COMPUTING – BARRA – RIO DE JANEIRO AT IBMEC are:** * Serve as the primary agent in implementing our institutions’ pedagogical proposals, facilitating the learning process and fully delivering the course syllabus—including the scheduled number of classes—and continuously stimulating students’ interest in study, reflection, and the pursuit of new knowledge; * Appropriately utilize available teaching materials and encourage students to consult bibliographic resources for the discipline—including books and periodicals available in the library—to foster critical and reflective learning; * Meet deadlines established in the academic calendar and fulfill requests from your respective course coordinator; * Record attendance, lesson content, academic activity outcomes, and other curriculum-related information via the electronic gradebook within deadlines specified in the academic calendar; * Contribute to preparatory activities for the ENADE (National Student Performance Exam); * Advise students on their capstone projects; * Employ active learning methodologies and the flipped classroom model when delivering lectures. **Requirements and Qualifications** **We seek professionals with:** * Academic qualification: **MASTER’S OR DOCTORAL DEGREE**; * Mandatory undergraduate degree or specialization: **TECHNOLOGY-RELATED FIELDS OR CLOSELY RELATED AREAS**; * Strong communication skills, ability to relate to students, adaptability, and flexibility; * Up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge relevant to the subject matter; * Proficiency in Microsoft Teams; * An updated Lattes curriculum vitae is mandatory; failure to provide one will result in disqualification.
