Job Purpose
Responsible for operating automatic CLAD welding machines at TechnipFMC’s Well Control Manufacturing and Subsea Service units, performing welding of low- and medium-complexity parts per fabrication drawings and plans. Works following technical procedures (EPS/WPS), using appropriate measuring instruments, with focus on quality, productivity, and compliance with established standards.
Job Description
* Operate automatic welding command, performing calculations and adjusting parameters per EPS/WPS;
* Input parameters into the machine for welding execution;
* Position and center parts, ensuring correct sequencing per technical procedures;
* Select and use appropriate consumables and instruments for the process;
* Follow welding instructions based on RAS, drawings, and sketches;
* Perform material cleaning and preheating per specifications;
* Measure deposited weld layer thickness, ensuring proper dimensions for machining;
* Ensure quality, safety, and adherence to deadlines per “Best Practices”.

* Completed high school education;
* Experience or knowledge in an industrial environment;
* Familiarity with safety dialogues.
