Summary: ALMACO Brazil seeks an Operations Manager to lead operational activities, serve as a main contact for sales and service, and manage projects independently. Highlights: 1. Lead and execute operational day-to-day business activities in Brazil. 2. Be ALMACO’s main point of contact for equipment and technology sales. 3. Manage service and sales projects independently across South America. ALMACO Brazil is looking for an Operations Manager to lead and execute the operational day\-to\-day business activities of ALMACO in the Uberlandia, MG, Brazil facility. The Operations Manager *is ALMACO’s main point of contact in Brazil and other South American countries regarding equipment and technology sales and coordination of service.* We are seeking an individual who is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and has a proven ability to manage service and sales projects independently, as they will schedule, coordinate, and facilitate training, service, maintenance, and equipment set up in Brazil and other South American countries. **Opportunities in this position:** * Coordinate operations and business entity development in Brazil. * Direct, lead and manage staff. * Contribute to planning for organizational growth in Brazil. * Promote sales and service of ALMACO equipment. **An ideal candidate would possess:** * Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish, and Portuguese * A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Ag Business, or another related field. * Five years of related, professional, and successful technical sales experience. * Experience with the agriculture equipment industry, seed plot research, or field equipment for corn and soybeans. * Professional and appropriate manners to communicate with a variety of clients in the field and in the boardroom. **Travel Requirements:** * Travel to customer sites in South America (mainly Brazil) will be required at about 20%. * A valid Driver’s license and clean driving record is required. * Must be eligible to receive a Passport and required Visas to enter other countries. **Our Company:** ALMACO is the global leader in cutting\-edge technology, innovative solutions, and specialized manufacturer of precision agricultural machinery designed for ag research within the seed industry.
