Proven experience in construction projects involving heavy machinery is mandatory. **MAINTENANCE PLANNING ANALYST FOR MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT** ### **Position Summary:** We seek a proactive and highly organized professional to assume full responsibility for the company's fleet of machines and tools. You will be the "owner" of these assets, ensuring no equipment remains idle due to poor planning and that operational costs are consistently optimized. ### **Key Responsibilities:** * **Asset Management:** Complete control over the inventory of tools and machines (owned and leased). * **Maintenance Planning:** Develop and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to maximize equipment service life. * **Third-Party Management:** Hire, negotiate with, and monitor workshops and external service providers. * **Procurement and Cost Control:** Obtain quotations for spare parts, consumables, and new equipment. Manage the department’s budget to prevent waste. * **Leasing Management:** Identify requirements, obtain quotations, contract, and manage logistics for rented machinery. * **Team Leadership:** Direct supervision of machine operators, ensuring proper usage, equipment care, and operational safety. * **Construction Site Logistics:** Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of equipment across multiple construction sites. ### **Qualifications:** * **Mandatory Construction Experience:** Hands-on experience with heavy machinery (e.g., backhoes, excavators, etc.), power tools, and civil construction equipment. * **Analytical Profile:** Strong analytical ability to interpret cost data and generate performance reports. * **Negotiation Skills:** Experience dealing with suppliers and equipment rental companies. * **Technical Knowledge:** Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems to validate maintenance budgets. * **Preferred Qualifications:** Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or Logistics. * **Owner Mindset:** Treat company assets as if they were your own. * **Agility:** Rapidly resolve issues with stalled machines to avoid delaying construction schedules. * **Rigorous Organization:** Maintain spreadsheets and inventories up to date at all times.
