Conducting inspections, measurements, and operational tests **HVAC Master Technician \- Rio de Janeiro** **Job Description** We are looking for an **HVAC Technician** with solid experience in air conditioning and refrigeration systems, particularly **York Chillers**, to perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on large-scale equipment. The professional will be responsible for diagnosing failures, performing technical interventions, carrying out operational adjustments, and ensuring maximum availability of installed air conditioning systems across serviced facilities. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on HVAC systems. * Diagnose and resolve failures in **York Chillers**. * Conduct inspections, measurements, and operational tests on equipment. * Perform services on mechanical, electrical, and automation components. * Read and interpret electrical diagrams and refrigeration schematics. * Prepare technical reports and maintenance records. * Support startups, scheduled shutdowns, and commissioning activities as required. * Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. **Requirements** * Technical diploma in Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. * Proven experience in HVAC systems maintenance. * Practical experience with **York Chillers** (centrifugal, screw, or absorption types, per professional background). * Knowledge of electrical control systems, variable frequency drives, and automation systems. * Ability to interpret technical manuals and electrical diagrams. * Availability for emergency response and travel when required. **Preferred Qualifications** * Manufacturer certifications for HVAC equipment. * Experience with other chiller manufacturers (e.g., Trane, Carrier, Daikin, Johnson Controls, etc.). * Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and building automation. * Valid NR\-10, NR\-35, and SEP training certifications. **Interested candidates must submit their resumes highlighting experience with York Chillers and medium- to large-scale HVAC systems.**
