Job Summary: ABF Rio is seeking an Event Assistant with negotiation skills to support event organization, supplier negotiations, and customer service. Key Highlights: 1. The Brazilian Franchising Association Rio de Janeiro (ABF Rio) is looking for a qualified professional to work as an Event Assistant. Responsibilities/Functions/Duties: * Support event organization from conception through final execution, ensuring quality and success of each project. * Collaborate with the association’s internal and external event planning and organization team. * Serve event participants accurately and courteously. * Research and utilize tools that contribute to delivering excellent service. * Develop presentation projects using visual resources and promotional materials to convey clear and engaging messages. * Prepare budgets, quotations, and negotiate with suppliers to identify optimal options in terms of quality and cost-effectiveness. * Negotiate deadlines and payment terms, ensuring compliance with agreements established with partners and suppliers, and timely delivery. * Monitor event-related social media accounts. Requirements: * Degree in Event Management, Marketing, or related fields. * Prior experience in event organization, customer service, presentation project development, and supplier negotiation. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Basic knowledge of graphic design and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint and Illustrator) is a plus. * Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented profile. * Availability for in-person work, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. We offer a collaborative work environment, professional development opportunities, and competitive compensation.
