Start your journey with us today. **Title:** SCM Manager II **Location:**Rio de Janeiro, BR **Job Closing Date:** 30/06/2026 **What will you be doing?** Responsible for ensuring that all EPCI Projects \& Tenders activities are conducted in compliance with Subsea7 procedures and Code of Conduct, within agreed timelines and always seeking the most economically viable solution, while respecting HSSEQ requirements and objectives. Responsible for approximately US$ 400 million in procurement, as well as managing around 25 to 40 employees. This position plays a critical role in the ongoing management of Subsea7’s operations in Brazil, requiring strong seniority to manage internal stakeholders and executive-level suppliers, as well as high capability in managing and resolving crisis situations. Key Responsibilities and Challenges: * Ensure overall coordination among various reporting areas (procurement, materials logistics, import/export, and post-contract management) to achieve success and synergy in procurement and logistics organization, including vessel support. * Manage a multicultural supply chain team based across different Subsea7 offices in multiple countries, addressing cultural and time-zone considerations. * Develop and supervise procurement plans for EPCI project and tender activities, and regularly align with Package/Project Managers, Planning and Engineering to define the optimal procurement strategy for each project. * Review and approve supplier selection processes, ensuring creation of supplier evaluations and lessons learned, disseminating findings to develop new material and service suppliers and identify alternatives that improve cost-benefit ratios. * Continuously seek improvements and optimization of company processes, systems, and tools to meet business needs. * Ensure compliance with applicable procedures, regulations, and legislation governing material import and export. * Develop synergies with other projects under contract to secure better pricing and other competitive advantages for Subsea 7\. * Plan and supervise material import-related activities, supporting the team in interfacing with external customs clearance advisors to ensure timely customs clearance and receipt of goods. * Control acquisition package budgets to ensure the department delivers results with appropriate resources. * Ensure post-contract management, maintaining quality standards, schedules, and budgets established at contract award. * Support the team in critical supplier negotiations and preparation of notifications when required. * Review and approve Purchase Orders issued by the team to ensure compliance with process and procedure. * Review draft subcontracts prior to contracting. * Participate in budget review meetings and provide guidance to the team on risk management and definition of allowances and contingencies. * Ensure cost forecasts and payment projections are updated regularly by the team to feed project controls with accurate forecasting. **What experience would we like you to have?** Completed undergraduate degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, or Law. Project and contract management. Knowledge of cost estimation (Best, Achievable, Worst). Risk management related to supply packages, both during procurement and execution phases. People management. Negotiation strategies. Procurement processes. Logistics processes. Strategic planning. Consistent emotional intelligence and ability to work under pressure. Experience in EPCI-type projects. Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
