If you aspire to drive transformation and believe you can add value to challenges involving social and environmental responsibility, Engemon is the ideal place for you! **Your responsibilities will include:** * Designing, developing, and managing HVAC (air conditioning, ventilation, and exhaust) systems and other mechanical systems. * Sizing equipment such as chillers, VRF systems, fans, ducts, mechanical rooms, and associated components. * Specifying, overseeing, and validating the installation of piping and connections using grooved systems (Victaulic or similar). * Conducting risk analyses and developing solutions to ensure operational safety and energy efficiency. * Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, civil, automation, occupational safety) to optimize projects. * Executing and supervising acceptance tests, commissioning, start-up, and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems. * Monitoring and integrating new technologies, industry trends, and best practices in mechanical and HVAC engineering. * Preparing technical reports, memoranda, expert opinions, and documentation to comply with applicable standards and regulatory requirements (ASHRAE, ABNT, SMACNA, etc.). * Supervising and developing field activity procedures. * Developing and monitoring installation planning and scheduling. * Documenting physical progress of mechanical and HVAC system installation and maintenance. * Performing workforce sizing and management for installation and maintenance activities. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields. * Proven experience in HVAC systems and industrial piping projects, including design, installation, and maintenance. * Technical knowledge of: * Central air conditioning and VRF systems; * Grooved-system installation; * Interpretation of engineering drawings, isometrics, and mechanical diagrams; * Assembly of mechanical rooms, ducts, and piping; * Supervision and execution of leak-tightness testing, balancing, and commissioning. * Familiarity with applicable standards (ABNT, ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA). * Problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability. **What we expect from you:** * Effective communication to establish strong relationships with clients and teams. * Teamwork to foster a friendly and collaborative environment. * Organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple demands. * Dynamism and flexibility to handle diverse challenges. **Why work at Engemon:** Working at Engemon means joining a company with a rich history, tackling a variety of stimulating projects, accessing opportunities for personal development, becoming part of an organizational culture that values collaboration, health, and well-being, and contributing to projects that generate real and positive impacts.
