**Responsibilities**
Manage the lifecycle of fleet assets—from acquisition through demobilization—ensuring asset registration control, documentation compliance, insurance management, tax and accounting compliance, and maximization of vehicle and equipment residual value. Generate KPIs, manage inventories, and support investment, renewal, and utilization decisions regarding fleet assets.
**Key Activities**
* Monitor vehicle and equipment procurement processes, supporting technical specification, negotiation, receipt, and asset incorporation stages.
* Register and maintain asset registration control for vehicles and equipment in corporate systems, ensuring correct accounting and operational classification.
* Manage asset lifecycles, tracking utilization, useful life, maintenance costs, and operational performance.
* Plan and execute asset disposal, sale, replacement, or write-off processes for vehicles and equipment to maximize residual value.
* Monitor and track fleet asset depreciation, providing information to accounting and finance departments.
* Manage vehicle documentation, including licensing, Vehicle Registration and Licensing Certificate (CRLV), ownership records, liens, insurance policies, and other mandatory documents.
* Monitor expiration dates of documents, fees, fines, and other legal obligations to ensure fleet compliance.
* Support vehicle purchase, sale, and ownership transfer processes with competent authorities.
* Keep asset registries up to date, including technical specifications, attachments, accessories, and movement history.
* Manage fleet insurance policies—including additions, exclusions, renewals, and claims monitoring.
* Monitor claims processes with insurers, tracking deadlines, indemnifications, and repairs.
* Control per-vehicle insurance costs, analyzing loss ratios and optimization opportunities.
* Develop and monitor KPIs related to asset management, such as average fleet age, residual value, depreciation rate, renewal cost, and asset composition.
* Prepare and deliver management reports to support decisions on fleet renewal, replacement, and investment.
* Conduct studies and projections for fleet renewal, considering operational costs, useful life, availability, and return on investment.
* Conduct periodic physical inventories of assets, reconciling data between fleet management systems and accounting fixed-asset records.
* Identify, analyze, and resolve asset registration discrepancies.
* Track asset movements across units, branches, and company operations.
* Participate in developing the capital expenditure (CAPEX) budget for fleet renewal and expansion.
* Support the definition of corporate asset renewal, replacement, and management policies.
**Qualifications – Education and Professional Experience**
**Education:**
* Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Production Engineering, or related fields.
**Professional Experience:**
* Experience in fleet management, asset administration, asset registration control, or related areas.
* Hands-on experience managing the lifecycle of vehicles and equipment.
* Experience in documentation, insurance, asset inventory, and asset control processes.
* Experience developing managerial KPIs and asset-related analyses.
**Requirements, Technical Qualifications, and Key Competencies – Differentiators**
**Mandatory Requirements:**
* Knowledge of fleet asset lifecycle management.
* Knowledge of vehicle documentation, traffic legislation, licensing, transfer, and vehicle regularization processes.
* Familiarity with asset accounting, asset depreciation, and fixed-asset management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially intermediate-to-advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, reconciliations, and data analysis).
* Knowledge of fleet management systems such as GSTrack, Logtrack, Sismetrix, Cobli, or similar.
* Brazilian National Driver’s License (CNH), Category B or higher.
**Differentiators:**
Knowledge of Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools.
Experience in vehicle disposal processes, auctions, direct sales, or negotiations with dealerships.
Experience in fleet insurance management and relationships with brokers and insurers.
Specialization course in Asset Management, Asset Administration, Fleet Management, or related fields.
Knowledge of accounting standards applicable to fixed assets, including CPC 27.
