Join us and help write our story! \#**WeAreVitus** \#**ForALifeWithoutPain** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Main Activities:** * Provide patient-centered care, including reception, guidance, and monitoring throughout the patient’s entire stay at the infusion center. * Conduct clinical triage, initial assessment, and confirm eligibility criteria for prescribed therapy. * Prepare, administer, and monitor intravenous, subcutaneous, or intramuscular therapies, adhering to protocols and best practices. * Perform peripheral venous puncture. * Prevent, identify, assess, and intervene in medication-related incidents and other patient care issues. * Monitor vital signs, identify and intervene in infusion-related adverse events, and notify the medical team when necessary. * Verify prescriptions and prescribed dosages before initiating patient care. * Perform and document SAE (Adverse Event Reporting) according to institutional protocols and patient needs. * Record all nursing interventions in the electronic medical record, ensuring traceability, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards. * Use and properly maintain institutional resources (equipment, supplies, facilities, and PPE), reporting any issues or changes to the immediate supervisor. * Guide and support patients and caregivers regarding the care provided. * Participate in meetings, committees, and institutional working groups whenever requested. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to promote, protect, and restore health and improve quality of life. * Assist in covering vacation, leave, or emergency staffing gaps for staff nurses in the unit, as needed. * Conduct home visits to administer subcutaneous and intramuscular medications, as required.
