Position: Fresh Produce Supervisor – with Experience in CEASA Purchasing Job Description We are seeking a Fresh Produce Supervisor to manage the entire department, ensuring quality, freshness, and continuous supply of fruits, vegetables, and greens. The professional will be responsible for team coordination, inventory control, and direct purchasing at CEASA, securing optimal pricing, negotiations, and product standards. Responsibilities * Conduct daily purchases at CEASA, ensuring quality, variety, and competitive pricing. * Evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, and monitor market trends. * Supervise the restocking and customer service team. * Ensure proper product organization, hygiene, and display. * Manage inventory, losses, expiration dates, and storage. * Plan orders based on sales flow, seasonality, and store targets. * Monitor departmental KPIs (stockouts, losses, turnover, margin). * Guarantee an excellent customer experience with consistently fresh and well-presented products. Requirements * Proven experience in purchasing at CEASA. * Knowledge of fruits, vegetables, and greens (quality, seasonality, and classification). * Negotiation skills and supplier relationship management. * Experience leading teams. * Organizational ability, proactivity, and decision-making skills. * Availability to work flexible hours and begin purchasing early in the day. Preferred Qualifications * Prior experience as a supervisor, buyer, or fresh produce department head. * Knowledge of store layout, product display, and preservation techniques. * Basic understanding of loss control and pricing. Employment Type: Full-time Compensation: R$1.808,70 - R$3.000,00 per month
