Description: We are seeking a professional to work as an Occupational Safety Technician II for Offshore Support Vessels. Responsibilities and Duties * Identify and control environmental, health, and occupational safety risks; * Assess the workplace and eliminate or control risks to health and industrial hygiene; * Provide ongoing training and support for CIPA and GSSTB programs; * Conduct training sessions and develop educational initiatives in the field of Occupational Health and Safety; * Inspect workplaces, facilities, equipment, and working environments; * Participate in accident investigations and report preparation: * Input data into performance indicators; * Monitor and report all occupational accidents and incidents; * Complete the safety and environmental indicator spreadsheet requested by the client; * Receive, schedule, and monitor waste disposal requests from vessels; * Receive, control, and maintain records of all environmental documentation related to vessels; * Monitor inspections conducted by SMS on behalf of clients or external agencies at vessels or facilities; * Distribute and maintain the company’s safety management programs (WISE, safety meetings, pre-task planning, work permits, near-misses, etc.); * Provide ongoing training and support for CIPA and GSSTB programs; * Follow up on all corrective actions; * Guide employees on the proper use, storage, maintenance, and cleaning of their PPE; * Perform other duties of similar nature and complexity, as directed by the supervisor. Requirements and Qualifications * Occupational Safety Technician qualification (technical course). * Intermediate level English proficiency. 2511290202181893677
