Job Summary: A professional responsible for ensuring environmental compliance, managing waste, preparing technical documentation, and implementing environmental risk prevention. Key Highlights: 1. Environmental risk prevention and mitigation **What We Expect From You?** * Apply and ensure compliance with environmental legislation in company operations; * Identify and propose corrective and preventive actions for environmental impacts; * Manage solid, liquid, and gaseous waste in accordance with technical standards and legal requirements; * Prepare and maintain up-to-date studies, reports, and technical documentation; * Organize and implement environmental education programs for employees; * Directly engage in environmental risk prevention and mitigation; * Be responsible for renewing environmental licenses, as well as attending to and monitoring environmental conditions required by competent authorities; * Support internal and external environmental audits and inspections; * Register independent drivers in MTR systems when necessary; * Issue MTRs to track scrap billing invoices and/or waste disposal at sanitary landfills; * Control acceptance and issuance of CDFs both as waste destination or generator. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Technical degree in Environmental Studies or a higher education degree in Environmental Engineering; * Active registration with CRQ and/or CREA; * Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in the environmental field; * Strong communication skills, organizational sense, and ability to work collaboratively; * Experience with ISO 14001 or other integrated management system standards. * Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality standard. * Residency near the company (preferably in Duque de Caxias or surrounding areas). **Desirable Requirements:** * Knowledge of georeferencing tools and environmental management systems; * Familiarity with the Leg Net legal requirements control platform.
