Supervise civil construction works A specialized civil construction company focusing on building and hospital maintenance seeks a Building Technician in Rio de Janeiro (Bonsucesso). Its focus is optimizing processes and delivering high-quality services to its clients. **Responsibilities:** Interpret architectural, structural, hydraulic, electrical, and foundation drawings. Develop and monitor physical-financial schedules and S-curves for project progress. Conduct field measurements of completed services for payment and contractual control purposes. Prepare budgets using public pricing tables: SINAPI, EMOP, and SCO — including unit cost composition, BDI, social charges, and full budget spreadsheet compilation. Analyze and audit budget spreadsheets, descriptive memoranda, and technical specifications. Quantify materials and services based on drawings and on-site technical visits. Supervise civil construction works, verifying compliance with drawings and ABNT standards. Control quality of received services and materials per technical specifications. Issue technical progress reports, daily logs, and meeting minutes. Identify non-conformities and propose corrective and preventive technical solutions. Monitor technological tests (concrete, soil, paving) and technical reports. Prepare documentation for bidding processes: Basic Projects and Terms of Reference. Manage construction and service contracts, including addenda, rebalancing, and adjustments. Support governance activities with TCE, CGU, and audit courts, fulfilling audit requirements. Perform multidisciplinary drawing coordination (structure, installations, architecture). Coordinate and guide direct labor and subcontracted teams on site. Use AutoCAD, MS Project, advanced Excel, and budgeting software (Volare, ORSE, Sienge). Manage material and equipment inventory, preparing consumption reports. Monitor municipal, utility, and historical heritage agency approvals. Verify compliance with accessibility standards (NBR 9050) and environmental sustainability requirements. Prepare as-built documentation and manage commissioning, handover, and acceptance processes. Support construction certifications: PBQP-H, ISO 9001, AQUA, LEED, and similar. Previous experience as Junior Civil Engineer, Building Designer, Engineering Assistant, or Civil Construction Technician may indicate suitability for some responsibilities of this position.
