Operational process management and quality control Restaurant Manager Trainee Position We are looking for a Restaurant Manager Trainee to join our team! Responsibilities: * Lead, supervise, and motivate kitchen and service teams * Ensure service excellence by training the team to master the menu, act with courtesy and commitment * Ensure compliance with Service Guidelines and Good Practices Manual * Implement and execute operational processes: opening/closing checklists, MEPs (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner), dish timing (KDS), label review, waste tracking sheet, inventory count, and system orders * Control quality, display, and restocking of items in the showcase according to the planogram * Ensure restaurant and team organization and hygiene in accordance with standards established by the nutritionist * Monitor proper use of materials and equipment, as well as preventive and corrective maintenance * Manage HR-related processes: scheduling, commissions, timekeeping, interviews, onboarding of new employees, and ongoing training Requirements: * Prior experience in leadership roles * Results-oriented mindset and focus on customer service excellence * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Ability to make quick and accurate decisions * Knowledge of people and process management * Positive leadership style and professional demeanor * Flexibility and adaptability when facing unexpected situations * Teamwork ability and capacity to develop others Job Details: * Work schedule: 6 days on / 1 day off — Monday through Sunday — shift to be determined (1 fixed weekly day off plus 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday per month) * Location: Barra Shopping * Base salary: BRL 2,000.00 + variable monthly commission (average BRL 1,800.00) * Monthly meal allowance: BRL 300 * Transportation allowance
