Job Description We are seeking an Electrical Engineer specialized in Solar Energy (DG / PV*Sol) to join our team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Daily responsibilities include developing distributed generation projects, sizing photovoltaic systems using specialized software such as PV*Sol, and preparing electrical designs. The professional will also be responsible for conducting technical analyses, overseeing approval processes with utility companies, and ensuring compliance with sector-specific standards and regulations. This is a full-time position requiring on-site presence. Qualifications * Generation and distribution of energy: Proven experience in designing and implementing solar energy projects for distributed generation. * Technical software skills: Familiarity and proficiency with simulation and sizing tools and software, such as PV*Sol, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design tools focused on photovoltaic systems. * Technical knowledge: Solid understanding of technical standards applicable to the electrical and solar energy sectors, and ability to conduct technical and economic feasibility studies. * Degree in Electrical Engineering, with active registration at CREA. * Experience installing photovoltaic systems will be considered a plus.
