Job Summary:
Performs auxiliary tasks in community and diverse public engagement, providing information and supporting social and environmental projects.

Performs auxiliary tasks in community engagement (e.g., waste pickers, surrounding populations), as well as with students, parents, teachers, company employees, third-party contractors, etc., delivering routine information, observing environments and situations, taking notes, and conducting targeted surveys to help identify support needs for social or environmental projects.
**Responsibilities and Duties** **Workstation: Environmental Education**
* Prepare, per instructions, surveys for environmental education programs, using established sources, aiming to foster integration and raise awareness regarding environmental preservation;
* Participate in events such as lectures, site visits, and community meetings, preparing venues and acting per received instructions to support human health and environmental protection initiatives;
* Participate in exchange activities with local communities and institutions, disseminating cultural, health, and environmental information per higher-level instructions, contributing to compliance with environmental licensing requirements;
* Recommend brochures and other awareness materials for internal employees and residents near the facility, submitting them to Corporate Marketing for approval, aiming to implement health and environmental preservation actions and promote company activities;
**Workstation: Social Services**
* Stay informed about government social programs, projects, and benefits (e.g., Bolsa Família, Family Health Program, Pro-Jovem, etc.) to provide standardized clarifications to waste picker communities and surrounding populations regarding access and facilitation;
* Conduct web-based research and local outreach to public agencies, community institutions, and social service organizations to gather data for socially and environmentally relevant initiatives;
* Conduct periodic visits to waste pickers’ access points and work sites to advise on defined boundaries and identify situations requiring Social Services intervention;
* Assist in maintaining registries by updating systems per supervisor’s guidance;
* Accompany Social Services professionals during home and community visits to assist with surveys, observations, communication, or any other required tasks;
* Receive and forward donations per supervisor’s instructions to ensure delivery to the community;
* Remain vigilant regarding unsafe acts or conditions in waste pickers’ work environments, reporting and/or taking preventive measures per institutional instructions;
**Workstation: Elementary Education**
* Organize and prepare teaching environments (classrooms, teaching materials, instructional resources) and issue necessary summonses to ensure classes are conducted according to intended standards;
* Assist in and/or prepare surveys, registrations, records, etc., aimed at identifying needs, planning, or evaluating academic performance;
* Deliver elementary education courses to company employees, applying recommended methodologies and pedagogical approaches to support the project’s teaching-learning process;
* Monitor students, guiding them on queue organization, pedagogical referrals, discipline, attendance records, and related matters;
* Participate in monitoring student performance, preparing materials for periodic evaluations and reporting to managers;
* Prepare routine reports on student outcomes and progress to keep managers informed about the project’s status;
**Common Activities Across All Workstations**
* Participate in meetings, campaigns, and other events, contributing to physical setup, distribution of brochures, informational materials, teaching resources, etc., acting per higher-level instructions and exchanging or collecting relevant information;
* Maintain statistics on services performed or information collected, compiling, verifying, and/or recording data per higher-level instructions, performing calculations and closing reports to support other services or for control purposes;
* Keep supervisors informed about occurrences, critical or routine situations, providing realistic suggestions to improve Social Services and Formal/Environmental Education processes;
* Participate in Integrated Management System activities, contributing social initiatives that add value to the company’s Quality and Social Responsibility system;
* Remain attentive to population needs concerning survival, citizenship, education, health, and environmental conditions, promptly informing supervisors to enable preventive or emergency interventions;
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Minimum Education: High School Diploma; preferably as an elementary school teacher.
* Knowledge of health and environmental programs, as well as ongoing social projects.
* Driver’s license Class “B” preferred. Internal training provided.
* Strong organizational sense, ease of expression and communication, and excellent interpersonal skills with students and/or communities.
