Job Summary: General Helper (Driver/Delivery Person) responsible for driving a vehicle, transporting and delivering products, assisting with inventory control, installation, loading/unloading, and maintenance. Assistance with general tasks and facility maintenance The EMPLOYEE will be hired to perform the role of General Helper (Driver/Delivery Person), and will be responsible for: Driving the company's pickup truck to transport carpets, installation materials, and other products to customers, installation sites, and other destinations. Assisting with Inventory Control Delivering products sold by the company, ensuring item integrity and adherence to delivery deadlines. Assisting with loading and unloading the pickup truck, organizing materials safely and efficiently, with special attention to carpets to prevent damage. Maintaining and preserving the pickup truck, regularly checking oil level, coolant, tires, and other items, and reporting repair needs. Complying with traffic laws and safety regulations, ensuring responsible driving and safe transportation of goods. Accompanying the installer to the installation site, assisting with transporting tools, equipment, and materials—including carpets. Assisting in preparing the installation site, such as cleaning and leveling the ground, when necessary. Providing support during installation, assisting the installer with tasks including unrolling, positioning, securing, and finishing. Performing material loading and unloading, warehouse organization, and other general support activities. Assisting with maintenance and cleaning of company facilities, including indoor and outdoor areas. Performing other related tasks as requested by company management.
