**Your energy will be vital to:**
Managing and controlling credit risk through analysis, monitoring, and defining limits and mitigation strategies, ensuring appropriate exposure levels for involved parties (suppliers, customers, and traders), thereby contributing to business financial sustainability and security.
**Responsibilities:**
* Prepare periodic reports for the Neoenergia Group Credit Risk Committee, including rating updates, total exposure, replacement cost, and MtM, covering new businesses, suppliers, and end customers of the trading company;
* Evaluate and monitor credit exposure, concentration limits, guarantees, watch list, and peak exposure of market participants;
* Update and monitor the Neoenergia Group Risk Guidelines and Limits;
* Conduct credit risk analyses for suppliers, end customers, and trading companies;
* Calculate Peak Exposure for power contracts;
* Review and monitor the PCE provisioning model across Neoenergia Group companies;
* Define mitigation measures and clauses for contracts.
**Requirements to join our team:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Administration, or Statistics;
* Experience in economic\-financial analysis of companies, including balance sheet analysis, cash flow statements, financial indicators, and payment capacity assessment;
* Experience in defining/monitoring credit limits, internal ratings, and credit policies;
* Experience in credit risk and/or market risk;
* Advanced English proficiency;
* Advanced Microsoft Office package.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience in credit risk and/or market risk within energy companies;
* Postgraduate degree/MBA/Master’s in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Business Management, Auditing, and/or Risk Management would be advantageous;
* Knowledge of credit risk modeling (PD, LGD, EAD);
* Experience with structured transactions, guarantees, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and counterparty analysis in the electricity sector (a significant advantage);
* Familiarity with the structure of the Brazilian electricity sector, power commercialization and distribution, and its regulatory framework;
* Knowledge and experience with VBA, Python, etc.;
* Experience with Power BI.
