**What does the job involve?**

Responsible for supervising, optimizing, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of production systems, as well as directly managing the production team.
This position provides technical leadership and operational guidance to the production team, ensuring compliance with Equinor’s safety, environmental, and operational standards.
The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in coordinating production onboard the FPSO, ensuring proper functioning of oil separation, gas treatment, injection and export, produced water handling, and utility systems to achieve production targets safely and efficiently.
**What will my tasks be?**

Within this position, your key tasks will be to:
* Responsible for safety and efficient operations within your area, ensuring suppliers and contractors work safely and effectively.
* Propose changes to practices and plans to improve reliability and efficiency.
* Manage competence requirements for the team in alignment with representatives of the contracting company.
* Plan and execute plant preparations for work permit releases, including isolation plans for work on normally pressurized equipment.
* Coordinate first-line maintenance and production preservation within your area, ensuring required cleanliness standards are maintained in your own area.
* Responsible for leading specific operations and preparations within the department.
* Identify and report SAP system failures through well-documented notifications.
* Identify deviations from standard operating conditions and initiate corrective actions, create maintenance notifications, and track execution.
* Release maintenance team work orders for the following day and close work orders in SAP.

* Minimum technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and automation, or equivalent.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in FPSO operations and/or 3 years in related activities with proven results. Prior experience in pre\-salt FPSO operations will be considered an advantage.
* Fluency in Portuguese and intermediate-level English are required.
* Good knowledge of maintenance management systems, preferably SAP.
* Proven skills in risk management and proficiency in computer systems (Office suite).
* Values cooperation and open collaboration as essential working methods. Naturally proactive, takes initiative, and can work independently when required. Gives and receives constructive feedback and is motivated by continuous improvement.
