### **Position** Sales Consultant ### **Profile** **JOB MISSION** Serve as a product sales consultant, deliver friendly service, and demonstrate product knowledge to all customers; Maintain store appearance in accordance with Sephora’s concepts and procedures. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** **In-Store / Customer Service** * Greet and enthusiastically serve all customers entering the store; * Provide courteous and specialized service to customers; * Identify customer needs through effective inquiry and recommend products to meet those needs; * Convey product knowledge to customers; * Act as a productive and motivated member of the store team; * Assist in identifying opportunities for store improvement and potential solutions; * Recognize and respect colleagues’ contributions; * Contribute to a pleasant and organized work environment; * Perform tasks as required; * Pursue specialized knowledge in your area of expertise; * Monitor market trends; * Adhere to the LVMH Group’s Code of Ethics and Conduct. **Store Presentation** * Consistently uphold Sephora’s standards for product, service, and event promotion; * Maintain store cleanliness, maintenance, and organization standards; **Operations** * Execute and comply with all Sephora policies and procedures; * Strive to become a reference point in your assigned area; * Participate in inventory control and quality assurance; * Complete all assigned tasks promptly and accurately; * Maintain store safety standards; * Monitor competitor activity; * Stay informed about special store events; * Participate in programs aimed at reducing shrinkage/loss; * Assist in reducing company expenses without compromising service or presentation standards; * Designated consultants must possess cash handling knowledge; * Ensure confidentiality of information. **Training** * Complete all My Sephora Learning trainings; * Proactively seek additional training when needed; * Support the onboarding and development of new consultants. **QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED COMPETENCIES** **Experience** * Retail experience preferred; * Beauty industry experience preferred. **Qualifications** **Required Knowledge and Skills** * Customer service, communication, and organizational skills. * Logical reasoning. **Education Level** * High school diploma or equivalent; * Foreign language proficiency preferred; **Job Requirements** * Communicate clearly and verbally with customers and colleagues; * Operate the point-of-sale system, if certified; * Handle and apply products on customers; * Demonstrate availability and flexibility; * Comply with the dress code; * Deliver consistent and reliable service. **Competencies** * Committed and proactive attitude; * Customer focus; * Teamwork orientation; * Professional ethics and values aligned with Sephora; * Results- and action-oriented; * Willingness to learn. ***SEPHORA*** **MAISON** ------------------------ Since 1969, Sephora’s stores have offered passionate beauty enthusiasts around the world the privileged freedom to touch and test products.
