




Job Summary: Assists the Baker in preparing bakery and confectionery items, monitors food quality, and handles product manipulation and organization in the bakery and rotisserie. Organizing and sanitizing the workplace Assists the Baker in preparing designated confectionery items and monitoring food quality. **Responsibilities** * Pre\-prepare foods and assist in plating and packaging. * Pre\-cook foods, prepare syrups, fillings, and toppings. * Inspect food quality and minimize contamination risks. * Assist the Baker in preparing breads, savory snacks, pastas, cakes, and bread production. * Assist in daily inventory control and label foodstuffs and/or ingredients. * Evaluate organoleptic properties (odor, appearance, color, texture, and taste) and verify expiration dates. * Organize and prepare the area where food handling will occur, and sanitize utensils and equipment. * Package, price, restock, and arrange products following the FIFO principle ("First Expired, First Out"), as needed, according to defined display guidelines. * Handle food, perform frying and baking of products sold in the bakery and rotisserie section (area designated for food display) of the store. * Assist the Baker in monitoring loss rates and implement measures to reduce them. * Daily verification of expiration dates for all products in the section; remove expired or unsuitable products from display. Immediately inform the department supervisor about products expiring within 30 days, and relocate such items from the sales area to the designated exchange and damage area before their expiration date. * Collaborate harmoniously and cooperatively with the Baker to achieve expected team outcomes. * Provide product information and offer customers necessary assistance. * Receive complaints calmly and empathetically, attempting to resolve simple issues independently; otherwise, escalate to leadership to complete service and resolve the issue—avoid confrontations with customers. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of one's workplace and shared areas, such as cafeterias and restrooms.
