Job Summary:
A professional to assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of socio-environmental and sustainable urban development projects, ensuring timely delivery and communication with stakeholders.

* Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Urban Planning, or related fields;
* Solid professional experience in environmental areas, urban planning, sustainable urban development, or environmental management (internships may be considered);
* Experience directly related to project management/implementation, preferably in integrated urban planning, urban public policies, climate, biodiversity, or territorial management.
* Complementary qualifications also considered:
+ Preferred experience in environmental projects, sustainable urban planning, climate, biodiversity, or integrated territorial development (internships may be considered);
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel (intermediate level);
+ Intermediate-level English reading proficiency;
+ Project management training courses;
+ Familiarity with MS\-Project;
+ Additional education related to climate, sustainability, biodiversity, or urban planning;
+ Volunteer work in any field;
+ Work experience in the third sector;
+ Experience in multidisciplinary projects, including involvement in and/or oversight of socio-environmental and sustainable urban development initiative management.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring activities outlined by the Project Manager;
* Monitor the project schedule, performance indicators, and deliverables to ensure adherence to deadlines;
* Carry out activities specified in the Project Manager’s plan, particularly regarding stakeholder engagement and communication as directed by the Project Manager;
* Respond to telephone and e\-mail inquiries from governmental and non-governmental partners, focusing on problem resolution and project implementation follow-up;
* Support daily project operations, such as analysis, preparation, and approval of terms of reference, technical specifications, and system requests, in accordance with the project’s contractual rules;
* Coordinate internally with other FUNBIO departments to align actions required for project implementation and related activities;
* Organize project-related information, results, and outputs (e.g., communications, minutes, documents, technical reports, consultancy analyses, monitoring data, etc.) as instructed by the Project Manager;
* Assist in preparing periodic technical reports, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.;
* Support the organization and facilitation of meetings, events, and workshops;
* Represent FUNBIO in meetings, workshops, and training sessions with partners and stakeholders, as required by the project;
* Propose managerial improvements aimed at enhancing project execution and achieving its objectives;
* Support monitoring activities and conduct field visits for project monitoring, if required.
