Cutting, bending, and welding of metals. Reading and interpreting technical drawings. Installation of doors, gates, grilles, handrails, and other structures. Preventive and corrective maintenance. Organization of the workplace and proper handling of tools. Repair of automatic and manual gates, handrails, grilles, metal staircases, roofing, and gutters. Performing welding, cutting, grinding, and assembly of metal parts. Painting and corrosion/rust treatment for enhanced durability. Previous experience as a Metallurgist, Metal Structure Assembler, Metalworking Technician, or Welder may indicate suitability for some of the activities in this position. High school diploma required.
