Job Summary: The professional will perform maintenance, monitoring, and surveillance of green areas; fire prevention; environmental education; and support for research. Key Highlights: 1. Active participation in forest fire prevention and suppression Main Duties and Responsibilities * **Maintenance and Conservation:** Perform or assist in the maintenance, repair, and cleaning of roads, trails, firebreaks, public structures, and equipment. This may include operating motorized equipment such as brush cutters and chainsaws when necessary, and ensuring general hygiene and cleanliness of the site. * **Monitoring and Surveillance:** Conduct regular inspections (patrols) to monitor the park’s condition and prevent illegal activities, such as poaching, deforestation, or improper waste disposal. * **Fire Prevention and Suppression:** Monitor forest fire incidents, alert competent authorities, and actively participate in fire prevention and suppression activities. * **Environmental Orientation and Education:** Assist in access control and guide visitors on park regulations, environmental legislation, and the importance of conservation. Support the implementation of environmental education activities and lectures. * **Law Enforcement and Inspection (in some cases):** In certain positions, the agent may be authorized to enforce environmental legislation, issue notices, impose fines, and notify competent authorities in cases of environmental or public safety incidents. * **Equipment Operation:** Operate communication and security equipment, and—when qualified—drive vehicles to carry out assigned tasks. * **Research Support:** Assist in wildlife and flora research activities, such as collecting and processing propagative material (seeds, seedlings) or analyzing camera-trap images Job Type: Temporary Contract Duration: 1 month Compensation: R$1\.518,00 \- R$1\.846,42 per month Benefits: * Meal allowance * Transportation allowance
