KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide basic nursing care to children, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being in the school environment; * Conduct daily observations of general health status, identifying signs and symptoms of possible complications; * Measure vital signs as needed and administer first aid in emergency situations; * Administer medications according to medical prescriptions and with authorization from legal guardians, following institutional protocols; * Perform simple dressings and care for minor wounds; * Document consultations, incidents, medication administration, and complications clearly and ethically; * Notify the pedagogical coordination team and families of any changes in a child's health status; * Participate in prevention and control of infectious and contagious diseases, adhering to biosafety and sanitary surveillance standards; * Manage, organize, and request replenishment of nursing supplies and materials; * Support health education initiatives related to hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention alongside the pedagogical team; * Collaborate integrally with teachers, teaching assistants, coordinators, and other institutional professionals. REQUIREMENTS * Completed Technical Nursing course, with active registration at COREN; * Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and first aid, preferably pediatric; * Familiarity with biosafety, hygiene, and infection control standards; * Ability to record information clearly, systematically, and ethically; * Organization and management of materials and medications; * Sensitivity, empathy, and attentiveness when interacting with children; * Strong communication skills with school staff and families; * Attention to detail, responsibility, and ethical conduct; * Organizational skills, punctuality, and commitment; ADDITIONAL ASSETS * Prior experience in daycare centers, schools, pediatrics, or child health; * Previous direct-care experience with children; * Knowledge of school health protocols.
