The **Dietitian** position is responsible for planning, guiding, and supervising the execution of activities related to food and nutrition under their responsibility. Workplace: Fundação Pedro Paes Mendonça, in Serra do Machado, inland Sergipe. **Responsibilities and duties*** **Manage food and nutrition units:** Plan menus; create work schedules; select suppliers; select perishable and non-perishable goods, equipment, and utensils; supervise purchases, receipt of goods, and inventory control; provide instructions to the team; supervise operational staff, meal preparation, and meal distribution; verify meal acceptance; measure food intake leftovers; evaluate workflow stages. * **Perform hygienic-sanitary control:** Control personnel, environment, food, equipment, and utensil hygiene; monitor product expiration dates and quality; identify hazards and critical control points (HACCP); request microbiological food analysis; perform employee health checks; request food bromatological analysis. * **Provide nutritional assistance to individuals and/or groups (healthy or ill):** Identify target population; participate in interdisciplinary diagnosis; conduct dietary surveys; collect anthropometric data; request laboratory tests; interpret nutritional indicators; calculate energy expenditure; identify nutritional needs; perform dietary-nutritional diagnosis; establish nutritional care plans; provide dietary prescriptions; prescribe nutritional supplements and complements; record diet therapy progress in medical records; verify adherence to dietary-nutritional guidance; advise family members; provide nutritional education and counseling; develop meal plans for physical activities. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Nutrition * Active and regular registration with CRN * Experience/practical knowledge in food/health area Being part of our team means believing that opportunities are as important as investing in each individual's development for growth.
